In a more traditional book, the person who writes the foreword is someone who tends to have some sort of familiarity with the author (whether personal or more broadly contextual), and they will read a near-final draft of the work before commenting; in this case, however, the work is not only relatively ephemeral and ongoing, but no one will ever read the entirety as if it were a book.

So even at this very early stage, I know that this section will be unusual.
