Hi Grandbaby Tracy,
Much welcome to you little feller. We have been intending to write to you ever since you arrived, but thot we better give you a little time to learn to read first.
Well by now you should be able to riddle this out.
I’ll bet this is the first mail you have received. If not, you are rushing things.
We are anxious to meet you, but have had bad colds, and think it best to wait awhile. Your Grandpappy has something for you, but it is not easy to send in a letter so we’ll wait until we have a chance to get acquainted.
Take good care of yourself and we will see you later.
